"The room itself was clean, so..."
The room itself was clean, so no complaints there. It just felt crowded and noisy when things got busy, like maybe they had a bit more going on than the space could really handle. Not terrible, but definitely not the calmest experience...

"As a parent, I’m always looking for ways..."
As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to keep my son motivated without it turning into a daily battle, and kumon has helped with that. He still complains some days, which I expected, but having the routine has made a difference. He seems to like seeing himself improve, and that’s been encouraging to watch. The worksheets can get a little repetitive, but overall it’s been a good push for him and has helped keep him more focused with schoolwork.

"Helpful routine, though it can get a little tiring"
I’ve appreciated how organized Kumon is. My child knows exactly what to do each day, which takes a lot of stress and guesswork out of it for both of us. The small, steady steps really do help build confidence and a solid routine. That said, some days the worksheets feel repetitive, and I can tell my kid gets frustrated or bored with doing similar problems again and again. I understand the purpose behind it, though, and when we stay consistent, I do see the progress. Overall, it’s been a good experience if you’re willing to stick with it.

"Helpful overall, but I wish the instructions were clearer"
Kumon has been a good experience for us overall. It’s not exactly cheap, and the monthly cost can feel a little high at times, but I do think it’s been worth it. My kid is more confident now and has gotten into a solid routine, which has been great to see. I do wish there was a bit more flexibility for the price, and sometimes I find myself expecting clearer instructions on what to do next or how to support the work at home. Still, overall, it’s been a good value for our family.

"The teacher was nice and easy to talk..."
The teacher was nice and easy to talk to, but some sessions felt rushed. I kind of got the impression they weren’t always fully prepared or maybe had other things going on, because the level of help wasn’t always consistent.

"The tutoring itself was fine, but trying to..."
The tutoring itself was fine, but trying to change the class times was really frustrating. My kid’s schedule shifted, and when I reached out about moving things around, it felt like no one really wanted to help or even listen. I just wanted a little flexibility, but I ended up feeling ignored.

"We’ve been doing Kumon for almost..."
We’ve been doing Kumon for almost a year, and the routine is the main thing I like. The worksheets are straightforward, the work is a little bit each day, and the center checks in weekly.

My son still complains sometimes, but it’s helped his math confidence. I like that we know what to expect.

"Actually Helpful, Which Is Apparently Rare"
My kid has been getting way more one-on-one attention here than I expected. The instructor actually notices when he’s stuck and changes things up instead of just pretending everything is fine, which is a nice little miracle. The schedule isn’t exactly perfect, because of course nothing can be, but overall it’s been really helpful.

"Good for practice, but a bit slow"
I’ve found this helpful for practicing and getting better at the material. For me, it does feel a little repetitive at times, and the pace can be kind of slow, but I still think it’s useful if you’re trying to build mastery.

"Helped my son feel more confident"
Kumon has been really good for my son. He used to get stressed about math. He would give up quickly. Now he at least tries on his own first. That has been big for us. The work is simple and steady. I think that helped him build confidence over time. It is not always easy. But I can definitely see a change in how he feels about learning.

"My kid is finally catching up"
After a few months of using it, I’ve really noticed a difference in my kid’s confidence with math. Their grades have started improving, and they don’t seem as frustrated with homework anymore. I’m happy with the progress so far.

"Really helps parents feel included"
I’ve been really glad to have this because it actually keeps parents in the loop. I was wondering if other parents felt the same way, and it seems like a lot of us appreciate getting updates without having to constantly ask.

"Friendly enough, but the vibe changes depending on the day"
Most of the staff at Kumon have been nice and polite when we come in, so I don’t want to make it sound like we’ve had a bad experience. That said, it does feel like the level of helpfulness depends a lot on who happens to be working that day. Sometimes things feel welcoming, and other times it feels a bit rushed, like they’re just trying to get through everyone quickly. Overall it’s been okay, but a little more consistency would make a big difference.

"Assessment was fine, but I’m not totally sure about the placement"
The assessment itself seemed to go okay, and the staff did explain things in a way that mostly made sense. I just kept wondering if the placement was a little too easy for my kid, though maybe I’m overthinking it. It wasn’t a bad experience, I just left wishing the feedback had been a bit clearer so I felt more confident about it.

"Parent updates are a bit ridiculous"
My kid actually really likes the worksheets, which is great, but the parent updates are hit or miss. Sometimes I have to ask more than once just to find out how she’s doing, that feels a little ridiculous.
